Patrick Ottaway, on behalf of PJO Archaeology, is acting as archaeological consultant to developers Hammerson in respect of two development sites in Southampton. One lies within and the other immediately outside the medieval town walls. Work so far has included preparation of chapters for inclusion in Environmental Statements and preparation of a brief for evaluation excavations which were completed in January 2009.
